Following a lifelong commitment to volunteering at hospitals, with Girl Guides, as a Big Sister with Big Brothers and Big Sisters, with Carizon, and the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides program, Allyson (and her husband Dave) joined SVP in 2019. Allyson is the Vice Chairperson of the SVPWR Board of Directors and works closely with investees as a co-lead partner. 2022 saw Allyson actively involved in planning for Perfect Pitch and working on other sub-committees and projects that will help shape the future for SVP in the Waterloo Region!
Allyson has a corporate background in global integration management for mergers & acquisitions and a passion for large, messy international projects that focus on people (company and country culture) and technology.
Dave and Allyson’s kids are now 8, 6 and 4. Together they love to travel and stay connected to family and friends, especially while skiing or hiking. Allyson continues to hold the primary job of chief household officer and looks forward to continuing to expand her work in the not for profit sector in Kitchener-Waterloo.
